Author of Can You Hear Me Now? Harnessing the power of your vocal impact in 31 days, and Entericorp co-founder, Kate Peters has been developing the company’s Communication Impact Services concept and delivery methods for more than 15 years. As an expert guest she has been featured on radio and television, providing insight about how the sound of a speaker’s voice supports, or betrays, their message and impact.
The Narratus Method
The Narratus method to communicating with impact and influence is a science based, performance proven approach that is grounded in a deep understanding of vocal physiology and muscle control, treating communication as an athletic endeavor and systematically building skills and performance discipline in the communicator. Our executive coaches and practitioners help executives create communication that aligns their personal intention and business strategy with compelling content and purposeful delivery choices that impact listeners.
Short Version of a Long Story
Kate has a soft place in her heart for helping innovative executives, engineers and educators communicate more effectively, an interest that was piqued with her work as the smoke and mirrors behind demos of one of the first voice-actuated computers, in 1980. This interest eventually led Kate and her team to create a new program to help prepare and strengthen start-up, non-profit and foundation leaders to improve their brand and perform with impact and confidence.
She began developing her approach to Communication Impact after a long career as a vocal performer and pedagogue. Kate is an award-winning singer, and has premiered over sixty new works of classical and/or avant-garde music. Equally at home in concert as well as stage productions, Kate is a 1998 Eugene O’Neil Cabaret Fellow and has performed music and theater around the country and throughout Europe.
A Commitment to Community
Demonstrating a strong commitment to their community, Kate and her partner Doug Simao have produced extremely successful events for arts and education organizations in Orange County, helping to raise more than 12 million dollars since 2004.
